Gaining in popularity over that past several years, GPS devices have flooded the golf market with added technology and an array of choices that include handheld, laser, wearable and voice. Due to its portability and wearability convenience, the GPS watchband model appears most favorable and companies have used color variety and interchangeable bands to appeal to both sexes.  However, many GPS watches are oversized, bulky, heavy and plain don’t comfortably fit a lady’s smaller wrist.  Low-and-behold some companies have taken notice and have designed a lady-friendly GPS watch.

GOLFBUDDY LD2LD2_Profile-Left_FCBAt the 2016 PGA Show, GolfBuddy unveiled the first-ever ladies golf GPS Watch.  Small, lightweight (1.0 oz), stylish and feminine, ladies can now have all the latest technology wrapped into a chic GPS option. Elegantly designed with Swarovski light sapphire crystals and a rich, alligator-grain, interchangeable leather band, the LD2 merges fashion and function into one device that can be worn on and off the course. The 1.18 inch LCD mineral crystal lens is enhanced with a stainless steel crown button and bezel. The LD2 offers much more than a "pretty face”… automatic course/hole recognition, distances to front/center/back of the green, distances to up to 11 hazards per hole, and dual-shot distance measurement function which tells the golfer how far they hit their shot. Preloaded with 40,000 courses, the watch contains a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides 8 hours in GPS mode and up to a year in standard watch mode.  Not to worry if you get caught in the rain, because this designer gem is waterproof up to 10 meters and it also sports a GPS tracking/odometer mode for fitness training.
